About Me

I work with you to create a realistic and achievable plan for the changes you want to make in your lifestyle while providing my expert advice and guidance to implement those changes.

My passion for health comes from growing up in a family of three generations of medical doctors and spending 12 years working in the Pharmaceutical industry for companies such as AstraZeneca as a Project Manager. This makes me the only certified Health Coach who is also a certified Project Manager.

I help busy women honor themselves, their family, and their future by showing them how to streamline their life, eat better, create more energy, and make better decisions to decrease stress and get what they really want in life.

My Journey

As a working mom myself, I understand the pressures of business and the demands of home. I underwent my own health transformation when the stress of living as a divorced, working mother caused my own health to decline.

There was a period of time when I struggled. Initially, the changes in my health were small and imperceptible, but they became increasingly significant. I began to gain weight, my face started to break out, and my overall energy decreased. I was depressed, anxious, and everything in my life felt like a struggle.

I tried to combat the decline with therapy and anti-depressants, and I began to exercise regularly by training for 5K runs and taking Zumba classes. These steps helped me some to manage the stress and feel better, but my weight didn’t change much.

It wasn’t until I started Reiki, yoga and meditation and began to reconnect my mind with my body that I realized the huge impact that food was having on my health. I had made a habit of buying a lot of packaged and frozen items and fast food for their speed and convenience. Then something changed. After a couple of months of yoga, I could no longer tolerate those foods. My stomach became very upset and my digestive challenges gave me the incentive to research possible causes for my discomfort. Ultimately, I was compelled to change my eating patterns. I started to eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods such as fruits, vegetables, fish, lean meats, seeds, and nuts, and the food began to heal me.

My energy soared! My mood continued to improve, my stomach settled, and I effortlessly lost the extra weight that I had gained. This was such a monumental shift for me that I wanted to understand more of what I had experienced. I returned to school to learn more about integrative holistic health so that I could help others undergo similar life changing transformations.

The healing process of food, mind, and body has an impact on many of the preventable diseases that so many of us suffer from. I particularly feel passionate about working with busy working women because I understand them – I’m one myself. We have professional goals we want to reach while we are raising the next generation. I know that by improving the health of working moms, I touch the lives of their families, businesses, and generations to come.


My Training

I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories; everything from Ayurveda, gluten-free, and Paleo, to raw, vegan, and macrobiotics, and everything in between.

I have studied and am a practitioner of Reiki, a natural form of healing since 2009. I also hold an MBA and am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
